Join leaders from our Jewish Veg chapters in DC, LA, and NYC for virtual vegan cooking demonstrations and conversation. For many, the High Holy Days bring up memories of holiday dinners full of animal products – meat, eggs and dairy. These traditions are often seen as a barrier to adopting a vegan diet, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Our members will share their stories of how they celebrate Rosh HaShanah as vegans and show us how to prepare favorite recipes from their holiday tables.
This new year celebration will be like no other, but as a community we can make it happy and the healthiest ever. We look forward to preparing for Rosh HaShanah with you and planning a plant-based celebration to reflect our values of care for our health, concern for the environment and compassion for animals.
