Is It Kosher for a Jew to Attend a Bullfight?

In this Torah study for Shavu’ot, we will explore classic Jewish sources on animal well-being, tza’ar ba’alei chayim. This study will focus on the legal response (teshuvah), by Rav Ovadia Yosef–former Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel– about the Halacha of bullfighting.

Rabbi Jonathan Bernhard will teach this fully online, 60-minute program, co-hosted by the Jewish Initiative for Animals (JIFA) and Jewish Veg.
